Brandon grew up in North Eastern Pennsylvania, in a rural town called Factoryville. He began with a strong love of drawing and painting, as an attempt to dissect the world around him. Brandon began furthering his educational pursuits at the Community College of Philadelphia, with a focus on classical drawing and painting. He later transferred to Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia. This is where he found glass, or glass found him, and everything changed. His time at Tyler earned him a B.F.A. in Glass and Ceramics in 2007.
After his undergraduate,Brandon worked in numerous facilities as an artist, artist assistant, instructor, technician, curator, grant writer and administrator. In May, 2016, he received his Masters of Fine Arts at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. As an instructor, he has taught at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, Salem Community college, Southern Illinous university, Carbondale and Keystone college. Brandon is currently the Exhibitions Technician at the Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Co.
Glass has become the primary material in most of his works because it is a driving passion within his creative life. Brandon strives to let his ideas dictate his processes, which also allows for an array of mixed media to be incorporated, from a rusted farm tool to custom electronics. Brandon's work is very much inspired by nature and physics, as well as fictional stories such as Stephen King's the Dark Tower Series and Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
